How can we help?

A dedicated Help Centre is coming soon. In the meantime, the directory and answers below cover most of what people ask — or you can go straight to the Sitemap or Secretariat.

Search will be enabled with the full Help Centre — for now, try the topics below.

Coming soon: a searchable Help Centre with step-by-step guides. Until then, use the directory below or contact the Secretariat directly for anything not covered.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Answers to what people most often write in to ask.

What is the European Software Association?+
ESA is an industry body representing Europe’s independent software vendors before the EU institutions, founded in October 2005 by 25 ISVs. Read the full story on About Us.
How do I join as a member?+
Review eligibility and annual dues on the Membership page, then complete the application form. Applications are reviewed by the Secretariat, who will follow up directly.
Can System Integrators join, or only pure ISVs?+
Yes — companies whose main business is system integration or consulting can be represented through the division that produces replicable, packaged software, provided representation stays focused on that ISV element. Details are on About Us.
Where can I find upcoming events?+
All upcoming and recently attended events, plus a full archive, are listed on the Events page and its Past Meetings & Events archive.
How do I get involved in a Workgroup?+
Workgroup participation is offered to member companies during the application process, or at any time by contacting the Secretariat. See what the groups cover on Workgroups.
Who do I contact for press or media enquiries?+
Start with the Press Room for statements and coverage, or reach the Secretariat directly via Contact Us.
Who leads the Association?+
ESA is governed by a board drawn from member companies. See the current Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and board members on Board Biographies.
I can’t find what I’m looking for — what now?+
Check the Sitemap for a full page list, or write to the Secretariat via Contact Us — a member of the team will point you in the right direction.
